Description
This attractive perennial quickly reaches 6' tall and 8' wide but can be kept smaller with pruning. Foliage is gray green, lance shaped and aromatic. Clusters of violet blue flowers cover the plant in spring and summer, attracting hummingbirds, birds and butterflies. This salvia needs full sun and is drought tolerant once it's established. It is cold and heat tolerant, growing in desert and coastal areas. It tolerates sandy and clay soil. Very reliable.
