Description

Large shrub or evergreen small tree grows to 20' tall and 10'-15' wide. Leaves are large, leathery, coarse, and gray green. Showy white flowers have a yellow throat appearing in spring or summer. During the fall or winter, fruit appears on the tree, eventually causing litter. Bark is furrowed and can be gray or brown. This tree does well in sun or part sun in loam or sandy soil. Birds love the fruit. Used as a screen.
