Description

Tree with unique white peeling very attractive bark. Spring, fuzzy cream-colored caterpillars for flowers. Full sun. Will grow slowly to 18-20' x 10'. Can be a great silhouette against a wall with interesting bark & wispy foliage. Multiples can present a better display. Native to the Sonoran desert of Mexico in warm areas on hillsides. Can tolerate frost damage in cold winters. Very heat & sun tolerant. Few branches. Put it in the warmest spot. Threadlike leaves.
