This relatively small tree will grow 20' high and 15' wide; it produces red flowers that bloom in the spring. The red orange fruit appears in September and ripens in October and November.

This variegated evergreen shrub or small tree has creamy margins on its gray green leaves. In spring, clusters of small, cream-colored flowers appear with the fragrance of orange blossoms. Variegated Tobira is often used to brighten shaded areas.

Green Lavender Cotton

Common name:Green Lavender Cotton
Botanical name:Santolina rosmarinifolia

Santolina is an amazingly tough plant with small, yellow, button-sized flowers that cover the 3' tall and 3' wide shrub in the summer months. The green leaves are very thin and needle like. This plant requires absolutely no care in most environments once established. Too much water will lead to mortality. Best grown in well drained soils.

Oregon Grape

Botanical name:Berberis aquifolium

Exhibiting erect growth, this evergreen shrub grows to a height of 6'. The leaves are 4"-10" long, with 5-9 very spiny-toothed, oval leaflets that are 1.5" in length.

Sweet Pea

Common name:Sweet Pea
Botanical name:Lathyrus odoratus

This is an old-fashioned, all time favorite annual. Sweet Pea is a sweet scented, flowering vine for spring and early summer gardens.
