A perennial, this plant is a cushion-form groundcover or bedding plant. It grows to 1' to 2' tall, 2'-3' wide. White, bluish and lavender colored pompom-like flowers rise above the foliage.

Dwarf Japanese Garden Juniper

The very dense growth of this plant is highlighted by foliage of a bluish green color. Its growth habit is very low, spreading, and mound-like, resembling a natural bonsai. This variety is one of the best Junipers for small garden spaces. Junipers are highly combustible plants.

This variety of Agapanthus has a growth of blue flowers between 12"-18" high. This variety is a dwarf form of the Agapanthus parent plant. It is both smaller in size and has much thinner leaves than the parent.

As a small perennial shrub with 2" wide, bright yellow, daisy-like flowers, blooms on this plant are seen almost year round. Its foliage is green in color. It is not as tolerant of coastal situations and it also seems to be more tender to frost.

Convolvulus sabaticus is a perennial that grows 1'-2' high, with branches that spread to 3' or more. It produces blue to lavender flowers with blooms of 1"-2" wide. The soft, evergreen leaves are 1/2" to 1.5" long.

Santa Barbara Daisy

Botanical name:Erigeron karvinskianus 'Profusion'

This herbacious perennial grows to 1' tall and 3' wide. White daisy-like flowers bloom heavily in spring and fall in the low desert but in higher elevations, bloomtime is only during the summer. The foliage is bright green and finely textured. This plant is fairly short-lived but will reseed if pruned in winter and given moderate irrigation all year. It does better in light shade if planted in the low desert.
