Iceberg Floribunda Rose

Botanical name:Rosa 'Iceberg'

This is a shrub rose (there are climbing varieties) with an abundance of fragrant, medium sized, white blooms. It is one of the most popular roses and very tough.

California Sycamore

Common name:California Sycamore
Botanical name:Platanus racemosa

The California Sycamore is a fast growing deciduous tree that reaches up to 40'-50' high. It tolerates heat, smog, and drought conditions as well as moist conditions; it is native to riparian areas. It has interesting mottled bark when the tree is bare in winter.

Variegated Amole

Common name:Variegated Amole
Botanical name:Beschorneria yuccoides 'Flamingo Glow'

This unusual but attractive succulent has rosettes of 2' long and 2" wide gray green leaves that look like swords. However, there are no spines on these leaves. These clumps eventually reach 3'-4' wide. During the summer, a thick pink stalk rises above the foliage, reaching 7' tall. The stalk is very branched, with many yellow green flowers. This plant tolerates full to part sun. It needs well draining soil. It becomes drought tolerant once it's established.

Shrub Rose

Common name:Shrub Rose
Botanical name:Rosa Shrub varieties

The dark green, heavily veined leaves of this bushy shrub are strong support for the pure white or pink, nearly double flowers it produces. This is a very tolerant, heavily scented plant with an impressive fall color. Also, large hips appear intermittently with this plant.

Krauter Vasuvius Flowering Plum

Common name:Krauter Vasuvius Flowering Plum
Botanical name:Prunus cerasifera 'Krauter Vesuvius'

The 'Krauter Vesuvius' is a smaller growing, flowering plum that grows to 18' high by 12' wide. Its leaves are purplish black throughout the growing season, and the flowers have a light pink color.
